17Kandles

In the summer of 1997 17kandles had their first DJ experience that took place at WJCU 88.7 in Cleveland, OH. 

Throughout life many hours were spent listening to music. If it was radio it usually was college radio (left of the dial) or Cleveland’s Alternative channel in the early 90s. Mainly, music was taken in via cd or by cassette mixtapes. Much of the earlier years as a kid becoming a teenager, many people were turned on to new music they hadn’t heard before. This continues today for listeners of Decorate It Red Radio on the Volumaniacs Radio Network.
