My Story? OK
It was never easy for me, I was born a poor black child. I remember the days with my family singing and dancing on the porch in Mississippi.
As far as my musical journey, I don't usually talk about my first concert, but my second concert was Queen with Billy Squire opening back in 1982. From there I've seen and probably forgotten more concerts than many people see in their lives.
I played drums through middle school and high school and still do steering wheel drumming on a daily basis.
I worked in radio for a brief period at WZZR in Florida. I started interning there and ended up doing Midnight to 6:00 AM on the weekends, so, the absolute worst shift, but it was still a very cool gig.
Now I'm just a music connoisseur, and enjoy everything, whether it's the old standby of rock/metal, or jazz, blues, country, pop, whatever, if it's good I'll listen to it.
