When Ed was a wee boy, listening to WFIL 560am in Philadelphia he became a fan of Elton John. When Elton came to town he had his sister get tickets, and they sold so fast she could not get 2 seats together. When they did finally go, Ed was hooked. He knew this was where he wanted to be; and that is how a lifelong addiction to music and live shows began.
An avid concertgoer since the 70's. Ed has been to literally thousands of concerts (yes he has a list). Often told he has a great voice for radio, he can now realize his life long dream of being a Disc Jockey. Ed also spends alot of time in Bethlehem, PA with an organization called ArtsQuest volunteering at many shows. You can find Ed at the country's largest free music festival, Musikfest, all 10 days in August working as a stage manager.
Being a fan of the now defunct SXM channel called Volume (but it does live on with Mark, Alan, and Roger's podcast SoundUp...check it out!) he became friends with some of the finest people he has ever met, we call ourselves the Volumaniacs. Our family of music fans stay together via social media, zoom gatherings, and also often in person; but better yet every day, nearly all day, we gather together to play and listen to music together. If you have Spotify Premium or Apple Music download the Station Head app and join us for commercial free music, talk and comradery with incredible music fans. You can chat with the host or other listeners, or call in to the show via the app!
Ed's solo scheduled StationHead show is Sunday mornings at 9am ET. Sundaze Songz is a great way to ease yourself out of Saturday night and into your Sunday. Hope to see you there, if not, I will see you at a show!
