I don't usually link to other sites. In fact, on this site, I have never used it to link to anything news related.
But this came across my feeds today. And it nearly broke me.
Todd Snider has been one of my favorite American singer/songwriters for over 3 decades. In 1994 he released his first album, "Songs for the Daily Planet", and I was a fan from the moment I heard the first song. Hell the first line.
"Did you know that there are people who put us down

At that moment, I knew this man like a brother. I knew his sense of humor. I knew his political ideologies. I knew his soul.
And it was easy to do. Because he poured his soul into everything he wrote and sang about.
